The Comenius Journal is primarily designated for elementary school teachers, students of pedagogy and related fields, but also for the general public interested in educational problematics. The journal offers professional articles that mediate the results of pedagogical researches, experiences and topics from the practice, reports (not only) from schools, proposals for alteration of authentic teaching situations, reviews of Czech as well as foreign publications and a wide range of additional insights and glosses related to the educational reality.The journal therefore provides space for presentation of high quality professional articles, supports the exchange of practical experiences among the teachers and creates a platform for general public to discuss the present topics concerning the problematics of the Czech education. The Comenius Journal is open to different opinions, approaches and methods that are being discussed in our schools and offers its website to everyone who wants to express his opinion or professional standpoint. In accordance with the accepted content conception, it will continue to focus on the current issues of pedagogical theory and its reflection in contemporary school practice.
